Proper Contact Lens Handling

Contact lens wearers, especially women who use oil-based makeup and cleansers, must follow the instructions of eye-care professionals on proper contact lens handling when applying or removing eye makeup. This was the key message of Japanese researchers who conducted a study involving several brands of soft silicone hydrogel (SiHy) contact lens, following complaints from women about their contact lens being "cloudy" or uncomfortable despite being relatively new.
