Women and eye make-up: Proper contact lens handling

Contact lens wearers, especially women who use oilbased makeup and cleansers, must follow the instructions of eye care professionals on proper contact lens handling when applying or removing eye make-up.
This was the key emssage of Japaneses researches who conducted a study involving several brands of soft silicone hydrogel (SiHy) contact lens, following compalints from women about their contact lens being "cloudy" or uncomfortable despite being relatively new.
